Day 1 of the $100,000 challenge

First one had to be analysis. I had to know how the hell i am going to get even 50 sales each worht 70$. This could be a tiring process but i started off. I knew one thing for sure. If there is a product which pays 70$ commission for sale it had to be competitive. A competitive product can be broken with excessive marketing (without funds i am left no options but SEO and social networking).

I picked up on Amazon to test the waters. I know that people are not too keen on promoting amazon products.

1. Amazon Products pay a small bit lesser than some of their competitiors BUT Amazon gives some of the BEST prices for the buyers.

2. Amazon Guarantees payments almost all the time and it has some of the most expensive products. 4% commission should still give you a decent 65-70$ per sale.

3. Plenty of NEW products which are not on the top list for SEO .

4. Amazon actually helps me give the Best sellers list!!! thats awesome cos i at least know which product is selling and is in the top 100 (along with the number of days in the top 100 List!!!)

Now that i have rounded off with amazon the next thing i wanted to do was to find a site which i could use to promote the products on. 3 sites came up on the top list

1. Squidoo.com : excellent SEO factor

2. Ezinearticles.com : Excellent SEO Facor , Stringent TOS, And terrible procedures to link.

3. Hub Pages : Good SEO Factor.

I opted for all 3 with Squidoo being my base, Exinearticles to be used for link building and Hub pages to add up to Highly competitive products and those products which are already generating sales on Squidoo.

Hub pages will be competing with my own page on squidoo which is actually good, if the user doesnt hit on the Squidoo page, the chances are that they may hit on the Hub pages…

The next phase would be Social marketing and networking

Facebook , Del.icio.us, Stumbles, Diggs, Myspace, think of anyhting social and free, i will have posted my links there. I got a list of sites which i could post from Social poster (search for the same on Google).

Now you must be wondering whats the product? Well i will let you know once i finish with the Content creation!!! Sometimes waiting is all worth it!
